Mount Ibuki (伊吹山, Ibuki-yama) is a 1,337 m (4,386 ft) high mountain, on the border of Maibara, Shiga Prefecture, and Ibigawa, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. It is one of the 100 Famous Japanese Mountains, and is also included on the lists of the 100 Kinki Mountains the 50 Shiga Mountains. Mount Ibuki is the highest mountain in Shiga Prefecture.

Odaigahara-san or Odaigahara-yama (大台ケ原山, Odaigahara-san or Odaigahara-yama), also Hinode-ga-take or Hide-ga-take (日出ヶ岳) is a mountain in the Daiko Mountain Range and on the border between the prefectures of Mie and Nara, Japan. The mountain is the highest in Mie.

Mount Omine (大峰山, Omine-san), is a sacred mountain in Nara, Japan, famous for its controversial ban on women and for its three tests of courage.
Officially known as Mount Sanjo, it is more popularly known as Mount Ōmine due to its prominence in the Omine mountain range. It is located in Yoshino-Kumano National Park in the Kansai region, Honshū, Japan.
The temple Ominesanji, located at the top of the mountain, is the headquarters of the Shugendo sect of Japanese Buddhism and the entire mountain is part of a pilgrimage and training ground for the yamabushi.

Mount Daisen (大山, Daisen), is a volcanic mountain located in Tottori Prefecture, Japan. It has an elevation of 1,729 metres. This mountain is the highest in the Chugoku region, and the most important volcano on the Daisen volcanic belt. The Daisen volcanic belt is a part of Southwest Honshū volcanic arc, where the Philippine Plate is subducting under the Eurasian Plate.
