Mount Myoko (妙高山, myoukouzan) is an active stratovolcano on the island of Honshū in Japan. It is situated to the southwest of Myoko City in Niigata Prefecture within Joshinetsu Kogen National Park. Myōkō is listed as one of Japan's "100 famous mountains", and together with Mount Yahikō (弥彦山, yahikoyama), it is recognised as a "representative mountain" of Niigata prefecture.
