This time I will introduce 100 famous mountains located in Kanto District, Japan. Mount Akagi (À־뻳, Akagi-yama or Akagi-san) is a major mountain in Gunma Prefecture, Japan. Characterized by long, gentle slopes, the highest point is 1,828 m above sea level. The upper portions of the prefectural road Route 4 approach the top of Mount Akagi.

Mount Amakazari (±«¾þ»³)
Mount Asama (Àõ´Ö»³, Asama-yama) is an active complex volcano in central Honshū, the main island of Japan. It stands on the border of Gunma and Nagano prefectures.
Standing 2,568 m above sea level, it erupted most recently on September 1, 2004. Previous noteworthy eruptions occurred in 685, 1108, 1783, and 1972; lesser activity has been recorded on dozens of occasions. The eastern slope has a volcano observation station run by Tokyo University.

Mount Hotaka (Êæ¹â³Ù, Hotaka-dake), also known as Mount Hotakadake, is one of the 100 Famous Japanese Mountains, reaching 3,190 m (10,466 ft) at the highest peak. It is situated in Japan's Hida Mountains and all its major peaks, apart from Mount Maehotaka, lie on the border between the cities of Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture, and Takayama, Gifu Prefecture.
