A stroll, where visitors can become familiar with Buddhism as they touch stone Buddhist images in the temple's precincts and along the streets, has started around Kodaiji Temple in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto. It is named "Higashiyama Robo no Furebotoke," or touching Buddhist images along the streets in Higashiyama. Visitors enjoy touring around and receiving blessings as they touch "Daikoku-san," or the God of Wealth, "Hotei-san," or the God of Contentment and "Nadeushi," or a cow-shaped ornament which people touch for good fortune.
