Kokusaidori is Naha's main street, stretching for roughly two kilometers through downtown Naha.
Starting at the Naha Bus Terminal, Kokusaidori is lined by restaurants, cafes, bars, hotels, souvenir shops, boutiques and department stores.

Yakushima (屋久島), one of the Ōsumi Islands, is an island of about 500 km² and roughly 15,000 islanders to the south of Kyūshū in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. The Vincennes Strait (Yakushima Kaikyō) separates it from Tanegashima. The highest point on the island is Miyanoura-dake at 1,935 metres (6,360 ft). It is covered in dense forest noted especially for old growth Cryptomeria trees known as Sugi in Japan and magnificent Rhododendrons.

Warmer weather relieves misery of Japan tsunami victims
SENDAI - A WARM front in north-east Japan has brought some respite to hundreds of thousands of homeless tsunami victims after days of freezing temperatures carpeted the region in snow and ice.
Although still bitterly cold at night, the mercury climbed to 10 deg C on Saturday in coastal Miyagi and Iwate prefectures, which bore the brunt of the giant wave triggered by a huge earthquake on March 11.

Ryoanji Temple(龍安寺)

A solitary Japanese onsen inn was built in Showa 40 (1965), one year after its discovery. An ex-head office of athletes’ dormitories for Tokyo Olympic Games was removed from Tokyo and reconstructed here and reused as the inn, but it was already renovated to new building. The Japanese inn is prosperous with many visitors for the onsen facility for day trippers named ‘Carna-no-yakata’ which was built in 2003.

March 3 is a special day for girls in Japan as families celebrate and pray for the happiness and health of their daughters in a popular local festival known as Hinamatsuri (Doll's Festival). For a month leading up to Girls' Day (as it is also commonly known), families with daughters display in their homes traditional Japanese ornamental dolls known as Hina ningyo, comprising figures of an emperor, empress, their attendants and musicians atop a 7-tier platform. In marking this special day by expressing appreciation to customers for their support, and by showcasing the vigour and capabilities of the women in Japan Airlines' workforce, JAL today operated a special all-girls/ladies flight from Tokyo (Haneda) to Seoul (Gimpo) with the airline's first aircraft that has been painted with the latest red crane logo.
