Daigo-ji(醍醐寺) is part of the "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto" World Heritage Site.

The "Temple of the Silver Pavilion," is a Buddhist temple in the Sakyo ward of Kyoto, Japan. The official name is Jishō-ji (慈照寺, "Temple of Shining Mercy"). Ancient Lotuses Large Flowers Bloom in Kyoto

Nelumbo nucifera is known by a number of common names, including blue lotus, Indian lotus, sacred lotus, bean of India, and sacred water-lily.

Ryoanji Temple(龍安寺)

"Ryoanji (龍安寺)" is located in northwest Kyoto, belonging to the Myoshin-ji school of the Rinzai branch of Zen Buddhism, and the temple is one of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
